More evidence has become available strongly linking your oral and general health. It has been shown that poor oral hygiene is linked with a higher risk of developing chronic illnesses such as heart disease, which means that seeing your dentist and hygienist, when recommended, is perhaps even more important than you might realise.
Our Personal Dental Plans provide you with your regular check-ups and hygienist treatments which are the best way to maintain your long term dental health, plus as a private patient your Personal Dental Plan includes a number of member’s benefits.
Joining our Personal Dental Plan is simple!
After discussing your dental care needs with your dentist simple choose the plan that is most suitable for you. We will require your bank details in order to set-up your monthly Direct Debit and you’re are done. You then have the peace of mind in knowing that all of your regular dental care is taken care of.
* Discount applies to treatments provided by your dentist and excludes orthodontic, dental implant and cosmetic dentistry treatments.
** An initial joining fee of £10.00 will be collected with your first payment only.
*** The provision of routine examinations and hygiene visits is subject to receipt of the required number of consecutive monthly payments
Dental Plans FAQ's
Our Laufen House Dental Plan includes two dental examinations per year with your dentist and two, three, or four regular hygienist appointments per year, depending on the plan you choose. These visits help keep your mouth healthy and allow your dentist to identify and prevent potential problems early.
No, our Dental Plan is a maintenance contract that enables your dentist to provide you with a planned, preventive dental care programme. Using modern techniques and a proactive approach, we help you achieve and maintain healthy teeth and gums for life.
However, Laufen House Dental Clinic can arrange, on your behalf, supplementary insurance to cover the cost of treatment required as a result of an accident or temporary care needed in the event of an emergency.
Your dentist will complete a simple assessment that takes into account your dental history, the current health of your teeth and gums, and the preventive care programme recommended for you.
We offer three fixed levels of general preventive dental care, which your dentist will explain during your visit.
For your monthly payment, you are entitled to regular dental examinations and regular hygiene visits (including scaling and polishing), along with personalised advice and a preventive programme designed to keep your smile healthy.
You’ll also receive supplementary insurance that helps cover dental injuries or emergencies at home or abroad. Our team can provide you with full details of all plan benefits.
Treatments such as fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, and specialist procedures (including cosmetic treatments, orthodontics, dental implants, and external referrals) are not included.
A full list of exclusions is provided in your contract, and our team will be happy to go through this with you.
You can choose to pay monthly by Direct Debit or annually by cheque or credit card. Payments are collected by Patient Plan, our trusted administration partner for Laufen House Dental Clinic plan members.
Yes, there is a one-off £10 registration fee, taken in the first month of your contract to cover initial administration costs.
Yes. You can cancel your contract at any time by giving 30 days’ written notice to our practice. Your plan will end on the last day of the month in which your notice period concludes.
